Yep just spent the last 30 mins replacing a bracket with blind bolts (round smooth pan head hes socket in the shank on the nut side) and got a spinner. Trying to hold a round head still while your mate tries to take of the nut each reaching through a 4" diameter hole is a nightmare lol.
Not even my job |

Yeah fitting the stuff is nice but holy shit design is just brain melting.
I need to do a fair bit at home in august.
For a Cat6 patch pannel to a cabinet, drop an extra few cat6 cables from the loft, then fit and link up a cctv system.

Depends what you want really.
For wireless cameras (night vision 780p) (just need power) and a reciver woth a 1tb hsd you can get a 4 camera system around 300 quid. Extra cameras dont cost that much.
And thwyre very simple to set up if you can route the power.
Otherwise you can have wired cameras or ideally POE ones (power over ethernet) where the data cable is also the power cable.
Bit pricer and but you don't have to worry about walls blocking the Wi-Fi etc |

Yeah and the advantage of POE is that feels of cable are cheap as are the tools to make the plugs and you get enough bandwidth to run anything up to 4k cameras plus the power is done too.
Even wireless ones you need to run a power cable so may as well be data too |

Oh, thank you now I feel better, but still 3 more hours to go
What's the betting it feels more like 6. I've an hour hour and a half maybe of traffic to fight after that to. Ohhhhh wow is bladey
You are used to it then will come bed so it's not that bad. My travelling home is just half an hour
With no traffic mine's 30/40 minute tops 20 on my bike. Don't think you ever get used to 12 hour shifts but the money and time off make up for it I suppose..
I used to work for 8 hours with people....that was much worse
You don't like working with people ye I get that sometimes I way better off on my own guess I could say the same for my private life to
But I didn't mean coworkers I had to solve problems of customers, write down their reclamations and still have smile on my face
1 and a half"
Ahh I see now that really does make sense. I run 2 businesses of my own and dealing with customers really does drive you up the wall... 1 and 20 |

"On the plus side i succeed in rewiring a connector without breaking it down/removing everything.
On the down side due to the increidbly awkward position i think ive pulled something in my shoulder
Your working to then
Yep just spent the last 30 mins replacing a bracket with blind bolts (round smooth pan head hes socket in the shank on the nut side) and got a spinner. Trying to hold a round head still while your mate tries to take of the nut each reaching through a 4" diameter hole is a nightmare lol.
Not even my job
Sounds like fun but think I'll stick to changing this gearbox
Haha now that I'll leave to you. I prefer electrics :p
I just can't get my head round electrics. I mean the basics are simple enough but when you get into the nittys it just has no logic or I don't see it anyway
Yeah fitting the stuff is nice but holy shit design is just brain melting.
I need to do a fair bit at home in august.
For a Cat6 patch pannel to a cabinet, drop an extra few cat6 cables from the loft, then fit and link up a cctv system.
Something I really need to do to fit cctv. The scumbags are alive and kicking in Manchester but saves me buying dog food each time they try
Haha, gypsies have just moved into my area
Should have got this done months ago bit late for now as they should be moved off by Friday but needs doing
What should I expect to pay for a descent 4 camera system. I'm sure I can fit it myself
Bit pricer and but you don't have to worry about walls blocking the Wi-Fi etc
Think I'd probably go with wired. There's that much already on my WiFi it already drives me daft things dropping out
Yeah and the advantage of POE is that feels of cable are cheap as are the tools to make the plugs and you get enough bandwidth to run anything up to 4k cameras plus the power is done too.
Even wireless ones you need to run a power cable so may as well be data too"
Think you've just got yourself a job |
