Today is mine and my ex hubs 14th wedding anniversary, n yes we have wished each other happy anniversary even though we are separated.

This got me smiling and thinking about our wedding night and our 1st anniversary.

On our wedding nite we had a huge row n didn't have sex in fact I threw my new wedding ring at him n then spent a d*unken half hour scrabbling around on the floor looking for it.

On our 1st anniversary I was 8 months pregnant with H and I fell over getting out of the bath, having groomed myself with the view of having a lovely meal of steak and then having sex. Predictably my waters broke having landed on the edge of the bath so off I went to hospital to give birth. Needless to say he ate both steaks!!!!

So for today's thread I wanna know your wedding anniversary/Wedding night stories.

Our wedding night was great. We didn't drink much during dinner (we couldn't afford it) and we were staying in a fancy hotel in the city we lived in because we couldn't get vacation time for a honeymoon. But the hotel was lovely - four poster bed, beautiful tub, everything. We had sex a few times, drank the Dom Perignon my mother gave us for our wedding, and had a wonderful time.

For our first anniversary we went back to that hotel for a night to relive the memories.

Our fifth anniversary is later this summer and I'm not sure what were going to do yet. We don't really make a big deal of our anniversaries, though. But the wedding memories are amazing.

We had an insanely long wedding day, which ended at around 3am. We were so tired that I recall we had lazy spooning sex, followed by breakfast in bed an hour later.

Our first anniversary, we spent a couple of nights in London taking in shows, bars, and sights. All followed by dinner at Claridges, where we got a 'you daft fuckers' from Gordon himself.

We've still yet to go on a proper honeymoon yet though, 10 years on! We went camping at lake Bala for a couple of days. Hardly the stuff of romantic dreams
