The police say that he's putting himself at risk and complain that he's interfering with their own investigations. Good luck to him, i say, he should be given a medal. The world needs more people like him.  |

He's exposing them, not catching them. The police should be grateful that he's bringing these filth to their attention, it seems they need all the help they can get.

I agree hes doing the right thing, but hes obviously going the wrong way about it. Yea he exposes them, they go to the police station and for what reason they are let go because of something Danny has done.
Then what? Sit and wait for him to lure an actual child to a hotel?
I agree he should work with the police in catching them, but do it in a way where they can be locked up and not let off to do it again |

I agree up to a point but it seems that you have far more faith in the police and the judicial system than i.
These people do it because they think they can get away with it, if there were more like Danny around it would at least make them think twice. The police have to be aware of them before they can investigate.
Don't forget that the majority of paedophiles are average people with average lives, jobs and families. I would think that the risk of losing everything,being publicly exposed,and having their average lives ruined would put a stop to a lot of this.
Self regulation in any society is the oldest form of law enforcement. |
