New Advertising Standards Authority rules will outlaw sexist ads, such as a man shown as incompetent doing simple cleaning tasks, women who can't do simple handiwork etc. Overdue?

There have been two types of men in adds until now, the bumbling slob, or the debonair beef cake, I don't feel represented by either of these stereotypes as a debonair slob

I certainly don't feel represented by the guy on the Invictus advert. And I honestly couldn't care less.

I do believe these laws are meant to appease women more than men. There are entire industries marketed towards telling women how they should look

Haha. Your spot on. I remember the oooooo bodyforrrrrm! Adds from a while back. Sure a lot of women took up roller skateing and such as a result but only during their special time.
