It certainly does. Much more fun being single. Even more fun is being able to talk openly about what you like and don't like.
Sex is fun when I'm single and my choice. When I was married it became more of a duty. |

Anyone else find the hardest thing about being single is cooking for one?
I enjoy cooking and try making myself a proper meal everyday, but cooking for just myself seems so much more of a chore than cooking for a family |

Anyway yeah...I absolutely love doing what I want,with who,when,how many at any one time and the thought of being in a relationship scares the poop out of me etc etc,but...I'm missing the emotional side of a man and all that entails.
I want a bi man for a relationship,so when the sex needs a bit of extra we can drag one in. Being single and a woman on here can be empowering in a way as I have the confidence to meet men just for my physical needs.
Ok I'm waffling...we single women are f*cking amazing though,if some of you sad single men don't like that well screw you!

See, I have that bi man for the extra extras, if I want them, and the emotional side, if I want it. I don't really miss anything about having a husband.

I would say it was a sad occasion becoming single when you see your young pregnant wife and 4 year old daughter laying on a slab after a speeding truck,hit their car and run over the top of it. So yes at times I am a sad single man. |

The really sad thing is after being here for so many years I get where comments like sad singles come from and now even use it myself at times. It's because of sad single males and the way they conduct themselves that I no longer even try to meet on here and that's simply because I will not be tard with the same brush as them but completely get where the woman are coming from. There's nothing wrong with being single, but given the choice i'd rather wake up to the face of the fella i have feelings for and just snuggle into his armpit and sniff him and feel safe, secure and loved. And then have hot sex.
But saying that, i'd rather be single than taken for granted, and treated like crap. I deserve better than that.

I am happy for the majority of the time. I find I become lazy when I'm alone. I can't be arsed to cook, although I enjoy it. I see it as a waste of gas/electricity.
It's nice to have stuff to look forward to, that's where meets and socials are great.
I guess I'm a wierd one, I like my own space but at the same time like to share my space at times. The idea of being anything other than single excites me but terrifies me at the same time. |

I have been single ( albeit living with ex husband who moves out and of the month) since the beginning of the year. After an 11 year relationship starting at 19 I am LOVING IT!
Saying that though I am a big believer of you can't help who you fall for so whilst i am not against a relationship in the future it wouldn't be in the traditional sense. I would never live with someone or get married again. More like a special friend x |

I love being single and having someone to love....have been seeing my fwb for 10 months...no crap about what I am getting up to when we are apart...most of the good stuff n none of the bad...why would I be unhappy? Love without being in love...luckily we both know the difference. Occasionally miss having someone being in love with me and what that brings....but that passes  |
