Who butters hot meat sandwiches? Weirdos
Smoked bacon, all fat cut off. Bacon cooked until almost crispy, too much and it shatters when you bite, too little and it's still a bit rubbery.
A zig zag of tomato ketchup on the bacon when it's ON the bread (white farmhouse style) and one turn of the pepper mill.
Cut into half rectangularly.
Not that I'm picky or anything |

Can you really?!? ... what brand is it, and where do you get it? The Co-op used to do 'piccalilli sauce' back in the early 90s but I've not seen it since. |

Well done back bacon with all the fat on, fresh white bread with real butter and no sauce. Maybe throw a soft fried egg in it too. Melted butter dripping down your chin while eating it.... .mmmmmmm |

White sliced bread from the corner shop that has a shelf life of 3 years, proper butter on both slices, 4 rashers of unsmoked back bacon no fat.
A little ketchup.
Omg - I'd rather have that than sex |

I've been vegetarian for over 30s and I think they only time I've wondered what I'm missing is when I helped cook bacon sandwiches for 120 students, their reactions were priceless. |

There and to the left a bit |
Thick crusty fresh white bread slathered in butter (what's this heathen speak I've seen of no butter? ) - unsmoked back bacon with the rind still on laid on top of the bottom slice - ketchup spread with a knife over the top, second slice laid on top and cut in either triangles or rectangles and then devoured...with a mug of builder's tea to wash it down...perfection!! |
