Your online character to your true life character.
If a forum member was to meet you would they recognise you from your forum character or do you portray a very different version of yourself online?
I like to think I am the same on here as in real life , My character the same. X |

I'm told I'm pretty much the same. If I don't know someone terribly well online I probably will seem quieter to them if we met socially as we wouldn't have much to talk about, but for those I'd chat to and have a bit of banter with regularly, I'd be comfortable just being myself with in person, and continue having the same craic and banter. |

I don't say anything different on line as to off line so I'm wood think I'm the same off line. 
But my dyslexia may not be so ovous of line as I don't tip wot I say wen of line i just say it

The same. But more importantly, is the profile the same as the personality.
I think that there are a lot of people who have an online persona ranging from anything from a complete opposite, to a characateur of themselves in real life.
Usually the clue is a description of how they want to be perceived or how they feel they should act in the profile name. |

Think it's for other people to decide...but I can be quieter in real life until I connect with someone. But finding that connection makes me much less guarded than I would ever be on here... |

I'd say I'm a bit nicer and friendlier in real life - I have quite an odd sense of humour and can be sharp and it doesn't always translate well in the written form.
Ligeia - your language is more colourful and your conversations are even funnier in real life. |

I'm more confident in person than I am online. I'm wary of posting my opinions etc on social media quite a lot of the time. My friends are always telling me that I'm funnier and more quick witted in person than I am online. My sense of humour doesn't come across well on FAB, and I probably seem a bit dull!  |

Well the majority of my veris displayed were from a forum social and they seem to think I'm the same person on here & in reality.
I'm more animated in real life but otherwise what you see is what you get, albeit minus the vignette filter |

My views, tastes and opinions are all the same here as they are in the real world, as is to a greater degree my personality - albeit in person I am maybe a little shyer than I may come across on here.
On here the benefit of having time to think about a response rather than having to say something immediately, as you do real time, plays to my advantage.
Generally though I am the same person. |

With inner thoughts and feelings I find it easier expressing them by writing it down or typing it out. That's mostly what I posted onhere when I did |

Nobody's ever told me how I come across online so couldn't say.
Mrs doesn't post on here but she's hilarious in person, even after 9 years together she still surprises me with some of the things she says/does |
