The forums are a good way of seeing who you may be compatible with. I block loads from the forums, I don't dislike them, just that what they're looking for isn't me.

It's not easy to post on the forums, without getting someone's back up, given the differing opinions we all have. It would be nice to call a truce. But some have an elephant's memory on here and grudges prosper. There's one I won't apologise to.... But I'll wish them well

I,m not apologizing, I try to be civil these days in the forum. I try not to be rude or unkind these days. It's the internet though so people take stuff all different ways. Sometimes I see red and post a rude reply. I,'ve served my bans, I,'ve done my time, so no apology from me. XXX

Or maybe people could stop being offended so easily. It's only words on a screen that can be easily swiped past. Some people just love to be offended though

I wouldn't apologise for anything I've said, yes it's words on a screen but it's nothing I wouldn't say IRL, not everything in this world is going to be sugar coated and yes sometimes the truth does hurt but that is usually because that person knows it's true and has been hiding from that truth, we are adults on here after all.

I absolutely hate confrontation and arguing, I avoid it and it's not in my nature to be nasty or purposely upset people. I can be a little sarcastic, but normally in a jokey way. If I've upset anyone, it would never be on purpose. I will stand up for myself though if I think I'm being pissed on; I do have a backbone as don't like being used or taken for granted . I am capable of saying sorry if I've done something wrong.

I have occasionally happened across a profile via the forum only to realise I have been blocked by them so I obviously must have offended them. There are two possible reasons for that so either they can't stand me generally (likely) or I was so offensive in a single post or thread that they felt they had a specific reason to block me (I'd like to think unlikely). Either way, I wouldn't apologise even if I could since I rarely know who they even are and haven't engaged with them in the fora in anyway differently to how I normally post. They must just lack common sense and/or a sense of proportionality or humour. Either of which means I'm not missing out by being blocked by them.
