What was you hoping to get out of Fab when you first signed up?

And is that different to what you get out of it now?

I was hoping to find a regular friend with benefit but alas, never happened and the search continues. I do find the forums and it's regulars good to chat. Often have a good laugh on here so that was an unexpected benefit to the site

I can't answer for everyone and I know I will get a lot of argument, but I have been here for 9 years and would say the last 4 years on here has been dire.

I had absolutely no idea at all what swinging was about. I chose fab mainly cos I like things from the 'swinging 60's' and 'fab' and 'groovy' and 'way out' were things from then so I joined. It's been good. I've met loads of people and chatted with many many more.

i went to club as a single before knowing about fab, i got told about it..didnt know what to expect

i found my sociable side, my fun side, my kink side, my inclusive side, explored my bi side, my club and group play side, ive had fwb's, casual anonymous encounters, great events, socials and venues and i used to find the forums a laugh, a real laugh, however if it wasnt for the lovely friends i have made here, over the 2 1/2 years and wanting to keep in touch and the club listings of whats going on, i would probably leave, i feel like its done its thing for me and its not that welcoming here any more, the attitude of some people on the forums makes me want to vomit and its less of a fun place, than it used to be...

And I have to say, in five years, I've done that and some. I've met some of my closest friends, my current partner, attended some incredible parties and clubs and socials and absolutely loved it. When I no longer enjoy it and get a buzz from it, I'll stop. But I currently am loving this part of my life.

This is our 3rd profile as we left twice before in a strop due to the fakes, no shows and let downs but we were new and naive and expected it to be easy to find what we were looking for and full of genuine people but after a year and a bit on here it's about the nice people and the friends we have met and since having this approach the fakes and bull****ers don't bother us anymore

I was totally the same... in my naivety thought it would be more straight forward and genuine.... in the fact that we are all kind of here for the same thing, so no need for bullsh*t, but was wrong.
