My lips feel like they have been burnt off. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
OP, you may have an intolerance to pineapple and the chilli beef is igniting already tender tissue.
You can use pineapple as a cleaning substance.
I can't eat ginger as it makes my lips swell, crack and feel tender. |

"Ouch. Yeah pineapple hurts mine too
How does pineapple hurt your lips genuine question?
It has a special enzyme that eats proteins.
"
Is that why its used in oriental cusine to make the meat more tender ? |

"I get the same feeling with salt and vinegar chopsticks, those tasty little suckers take the skin off my tongue "
I don't go near anything salt and vinegar flavour. |
