We both had some in the past. Going on experience it depends what sort of connection you have with them. Iv had some where we was in daily contact but met ages times a week but others just text when they need you which some was like once a month or even 2months x |

if you don't hear from them unless they want sex then i wouldn't call them a buddy.
if you meet every few weeks i'd call them a regular meet. although that's not really regular so maybe call them a repeat meet.
breaking things down by using the words of what they actually are helps you clarify your relationship with that person i feel. |

Some I don't hear for months at a time; some fizzle out altogether. I've had one for over 7 years I see between 1 and 3 times a month unless he's working away. Another new one I've seen 5 times in the last 3 months; it would have been more but I had an operation and was ill. The good thing about no strings relationships is you're not obligated to see them at specific intervals.

I call mine buddies, even though I rarely converse with them until we meet. |
