He is the one who made the mistake.
I agree, it would be awful to hold reservations about someone who couldn't come because of an emergency. But, when someone stands someone up they know the damning effects that may have. So you should realise that it's him that made the mistake and not you! I'm blabbing on a bit now.

Well my husband surprised me he bought me lunch today because he knows I don't stop for any.... then cooked me dinner this evening.. then he bought me in a salted caramel desert he had got me from Waitrose!! So he has been so thoughtful and that's what's made me smile !!  |
