There all the same BT Or virgin are the only line providers all other lease lines from BT open reach.
I've been with many sky was terrible, same with talktalk.
Plusnet was the best I've been with. Staff helpful, fixed speed issues and friendly English staff.
Now forced to BT fibre double the price of plusnet. As new build area locked to bt |

I put up with shit broadband with EE, for years. I'd only been getting 5megs anyway but then it developed a fault which they were unable to resolve, so I was stuck with just 1Mb/s.
Eventually got pissed off and followed a recommendation from a mate.
Now with Vodafone - signed up for their 38meg fibre service and I'm getting a solid 40meg down/10meg up, for £28 a month.
Compared with BT+EE before, I'm also saving at least £150 a year. |

Our Sky is shit but mostly because we're furthest away from the exchange. Switched to Virgin. They came to install and said 'no cos we'd have to dig through your drive' - well you put the bloody cables in ya dafties!
So stuck with Sky. Speed ranges fro .06mbps to about 6 on a good day.
Streaming content is a nightmare. |

Think it all depends on the area, we are with EE and we get 35mb in a relatively rural area.
My parents have sky and it annoys me immensely, TV signal goes in bad weather and internet frequently stops working |
