"first day in the gymn today
was not as nervous as i thought i would be
i was the fattest on the block lol"
Nice one OP! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I was in a similar position starting back at the gym after years of not going this time last year. It has been well worth it though |

I got myself so worked before I first went to the gym I nearly walked away and didn't do in....so glad I did,I can't get there as often as I'd like and do things at my own pace and apart from a couple of young lads having a giggle everyone else has been great and I've nearly lost a stone and a half in 5/6 weeks so all good.
Well done op hope you have a great time |

it was me first day so i will be back and update here
i was on the treadmill and i thought fuck i will not be able to go mad fast here, then the trainer points out only go slow over longer rather than mad bursts as it pays more dividents |

Well done OP takes a lot of determination and strength of character to step out of you comfort zone ... but those places that make you uncomfortable, are what make you stronger. |

I started back at the gym about a month ago, I'm enjoying it. Just started to add some core exercises into my routine as need to tone my stomach. I started off with 2 sessions a week, now doing 3 and at 67 minutes each I'm pleased with that. I was very fit even though I was fat. But had a change of family circumstances that forced me to stop. I'm glad to be able go again. X |
