So site pass runs out in a few and after speaking to the missis we decided not to renew. A lot of superior, snobby attitudes from a lot of people which makes this swinging thing into a popularity contest..... If anyone wants to reach out before then drop us a line otherwise this will turn into a rant.

Don't play as a couple it's as a single so when meeting they don't excpect my wife to play ( which has happened before). |

I don't know why people worry about those who regard the swing scene as a popularity context. Just ignore them. I've personally never noticed, as the people we mix with on the swing scene are just normal relaxed chilled people who know how to have a good time - certainly never been aware that anybody is competing in the popularity stakes. But for those who don't enjoy their experience of Fab, then fair play there's probably not much point in being here. We've stayed in contact with swingers who left Fab, so there is certainly plenty of fun still to be had without a profile.

Could easily...some people aren't glued to fab...some only log in a few times a week so they might miss it.
I neve fathom why people have to be nasty on these posts. Guess it come too naturally for some and they can't help it.
OP I fully understand your feelings, as a single guy it can often feel that way and yes you're right about the popularity thing. Those who deny it have eyes closed or are the one involved themselves.
All the best and there's alot of fun to be had off fab with former fabbers. Less of a performance game. |

Can you read the original post. I included in it how I see things but not a complaint. If you don't like it don't comment. If you saw me in the street or f2f I gaurentee you wouldn't say jack like this to me. I keep saying I'm not that guy so it's best of people relax and realise when they are being a keyboard warrior. To the rest of people that are just replying thanks for the messages and no I'm not done compleatly I'll still go some clubs and that so if you are leaving sarcastic and childish comments please feel free to write them down and come give them to me when you see me |

It doesn't justify people being nasty to you OP, but you have made a big criticism that Fab is all about popularity contests. Whereas I'm sure there are plenty of shallow people on Fab, there are also plenty of very nice people who just like to have a good time. So sweeping statements that brand the Fab experience as a being all about popularity will get people's back up, resulting in a backlash. Also, I think people find it a bit strange that you want to announce your departure. It sounds like you are trying to make a point about how unpleasant you find people on Fab. You say the reason you are announcing your departure is to encourage certain people who you respect to reach out to you before you go. Are you sure that's the reason? Surely you know who your valued friends are and can message or text them yourselves. Just saying why people maybe a bit cynical and have jumped to conclusions. Surely you know who your valued friends are and can message or text them yourselves. Just saying why people maybe a bit cynical and have jumped to conclusions. On the other hand there is nothing wrong with having a forum discussion about perceived inadequacies of Fab. But anyway, there's plenty of fun to be had without Fab, so enjoy!

About 1% of fabbers use the forums (Fabs own statistic), so I would say its a pretty poor way of getting meets.
Although, I dunno if it counts as the same, but we go to a lot of organised socials that are advertised in the forums... but then we meet there f2f, chat, network, and interact.

for the umpteenth time WHEN my pass runs out .... that's why I'm still HERE!!!! Or perhaps because I have to keep explaining it ??? I don't think that the 1% is accurate at all but I get your point.
