Evenin' Honey, evenin' all
I'm planning out my week. I've got a floor to lay, worktops to fit, cupboards to install and pipes to plumb.
Also a garden wall to build and turf to plant.
Given I can't book any time off it is going to be a little hectic. |

I am currently resisting the urge to rip my tiles off in the bathroom.
Do you enjoy DIY? |

Go for it! Would you be retiling yourself?
Yes, I do quite enjoy DIY. It is nice to have a tangible thing to look at, something I don't get from my day job. |

I've never tiled. I need to get some plumbing and a new shower sorted first.
It's easy stuff...right? |

Plumbing is easy, especially with the new pushfit stuff.
I've plumbed both our houses now. A new bathroom and the kitchen at the old one and absolutely everything (including a new mains pipe from the kerb) at our new place.
The garden wall will be my first foray into bricklaying. |

"Hello folks... I ran the gauntlet at Ikea... and lived to tell the tale.
Got a couple of bits including a new desk lamp.
Rock n Roll!
Did you get meatballs?"
No sadly.. I'd already had my tea... haha... so perusing Ikea at 8pm on a Monday night, like you do!
