Why blame yourself when you can blame someone else?

In the middle

When I run out of medicine it's usually my fault for not putting a repeat prescription in early enough, it's rarely anyone else's fault

How can they be responsible when you are the one taking the medication?

My prescription kept going missing between the surgery and the pharmacy, so I stopped having it sent down. They don't allow you to put it in early, in case it disappears, but it can take another couple of days to sort out if it does go missing.

I panic if I run out, so I never forget to get mine.

Some people have their medication delivered to their home and the pharmacy messes up. During a bad brain fog spell I can forget what day it is.

These forums are horrible today.

My prescriptions are managed by my chemist.

They were out of sink so last time I went in they said they would put them to one side and sort them out.

They were then unfortunately forgotten about.

I sort my meds weekly into my meds box cos I'm on so many.

A week last Friday I noticed I was due to run out last week and made a note to go in.

I went in on Fri n asked if there was anything for me but there wasn't.

Today I've taken my meds n realised I was missing one.

I'm leaving the forums for the rest of the day.

everything I have on prescription is on repeat prescription as it has to be taken for my lifetime, so I sign for the next lot before I leave the chemist...

if it comes to the following month and the tabs aren't there, then its not my fault they aren't, its the pharmacies fault because they didn't order them in in time... so it is always someone else's fault as they make me sign the prescription before I leave the shop

Anyway easiest thing is get the repeat form from your doc and as long as you aren't a sucide risk you can get a good few months ahead of your prescription amount.

I've still got about 6 months worth of my old meds stocked up somewhere lol

Some people need everything explained to them, if they haven't experienced it.

Yes it seems "fibro" is used as an excuse for litterally everything these days. Still no diagnostic test for it though is there iirc?

But to have a "fog" related to one tablet for several dayd/weeks while not affecting all the other tablets seems somewhat medically unecplainable.

Because they are set up for her. Each day, each time of day, there is a 'bubble', with a selection of tablets in them. Sometimes if there are a lot of tablets in a bubble, it is easy to not notice one is missing.
