I've noticed that we get a lot of friend requests from people who haven't bothered to speak to us, and most likely haven't read our profile as it explicitly states we won't accept. Most of these seem to be from people with no public pics, but a few friend only ones themselves, as though they're trying to tempt us.
Am I the only one that thinks this is just people trying to have a nose at our more private pictures, or is there someone out there that does this that has a valid reason that they just dish out friend requests like sweets. |

I think the fact that I've done exactly this and been disappointed by potato quality pictures of not much going on, is exactly why I got curious enough to make this post. |

It's fairly standard practice amongst some types here -
People who use it instead of adding you to their hotlist.
People wanting to perv pics
Other chancers who have no clue about socially interacting and building intimacy
I don't accept requests from people

We don't accept either, if they look nice and have an interesting profile we will message and try to get to know them a bit first before adding as a friend. It does strike me as odd tho the sheer number of people without pics/veri's and have been on the site a long time... so generally don't bother with those kind of profiles. I feel if people haven't gone to a similar effort with their profile as we have with ours then they're probably not the sort of people we would be interested in meeting. |

They're just dickheads, makes life harder for us that bother to read profiles and send proper messages by the time people get past the requests and the 'lets fuck' messages they can't be bothered with anyone. well that's what I tell myself when I don't get a reply lol |

"Just ignore them, they do just want a nosey at your private pictures without having to chat with you first.
Oo, hello. Off to look at your pictures.

I don't get anywhere near as many unsolicited friend requests as I imagine the lovely ladies do, but it does happen.
Occasionally I notice I have a friend invite, completely out of the blue, from someone I haven't even looked at.
It's hardly as if I have no pictures on display so I'm not so sure if it's that they want to have a perve or if they're using the friend request as a means of breaking the ice however, as with anyone who sends me a wink, it clearly shows that they haven't bothered to read my profile. |
