Nope, because how you define a time waster may differ hugely to what one is!
I got called a time waster yesterday for politely replying no thanks to a guy I wasn't interested in. Does that make me a time waster?
It's your word against theirs and nothing to stop someone just naming someone because they wouldn't meet them, rather than for actually being a time waster.

"Well no.....cos anyone could lie.what would stop me saying we arranged to meet and you didn't show? Its my word against yours. "
Completely agree. And define time waster. I think someone not turning up for an arranged meet would count but some people accuse you of time wasting if you chat for a while then decide you don't want to meet them. |

Having been totally screwed over on Friday night with my FB, we traveled over an hour and a half to meet a couple only for them to be no shows I would have said yes on Friday.
Now though, I think naming and shaming isn't really very good for anyone, can you imagine the forums, it would just be awash with people complaining, oh hang on. But seriously, it would cause more damage to the site then it would solve the issue of time wasters.
And as someone said, the definition varies between users.
I've been called a time waster because I chose not to meet someone after we'd chatted for a while, I told her that it didn't feel right and she lost her shit with me. But I didn't know I didn't want to meet her until I'd learnt more about her. So in my mind it was time well spent, she didn't get what she wanted and so she saw it as time wasted.
I think just report en, block em and move on. |

There and to the left a bit |
Actually OP there IS a name and shame facility here - it's called reporting the profile in question to admin where you can provide details of your grievance including a no show and if deemed worthy appropriate action will be taken.
All done privately and allows both sides of a story to be heard without the pitfalls others have rightly pointed out above. |

I totally support not being able to name & shame on the forums. People can sometimes be hasty in their approach, which can only lead to petty, revengeful posts.

Reasons Fab perplexes me number 743: People will never actually name 'positively' people in 'which forumers do you fancy' threads but are happy to 'negatively' name them in name & shame threads ... |

"any 1 agree we should name n shame time waisters " no. I got called a time waster for saying I didn't want to meet someone. Just cos I was chatting to him. I told him straightaway I wasn't meeting at the time. He suddenly turned nasty and abusive. So no. Don't name & shame cos it's unfair on the innocent accused.
