Like em or loathe em, what a pair of 'characters' !
They cooked some right old shite, but I'd always watch til the end just because i found them endearing and ever so slightly annoying at the same time !
I say get rid of Jamie and bring back some eccentric old toffs to show us how to cook |

One a reformed alcoholic and the other smoked like a chimney even though she knew it was killing her.

there was an episode where they cooked in a vicarage.
one of them came out with something along the lines of 'these vicarages were built in a time when the vicars had a wife and children. nowadays they're all gay'
probably some degree wide of the mark, but it did make me laugh just the same |
