In my experience a lot of men prefer unstable women because it gives them something to fix. It's much easier for a man to leave a strong woman (who they perceive needs nothing from them) for a weak unstable one. Again, speaking from experience. |

(Some) men think all women are unstable and actively seek out those that are while putting up with a lot for shags. (Some) women have built instability detectors but many will put up with it because they think they don't deserve better, expect men to behave that way, misplaced loyalty, because they will put up with a lot to be "in a relationship".
