For those of you with strange or weird usernames, where did it come from.

I'm 202cm tall, so Double Metre sounded good to me, but i wanted to make it look shorter so DbleMetres (s for the plural) and it's also my instagram name |

The first time we slept in my current (very tiny) flat (barely room for a bed) I had to crawl over him to get out.
He said "careful, don't squish me! I'm only a little hippo....."
As he adores me, and large women in general, I could hardly take offense.

I live on the Southside of Glasgow and I'm naughty that's about it.
I had to change my original username after a couple pointed out it was bringing all the unwanted messages I got daily
It was Mr_Curiosity, which is the name of a Jason Mraz song. I was new to swinging and curious about the whole lifestyle.
I was 4 years in and still getting lots of messages from guys and TV offering to 'turn' me, when a couple I was chatting to in a club pointed out that the username was likely being glanced at and then assumed to mean I was bi-curious. After I changed it the volume of messages virtually disappeared overnight |

Many moons ago I used to spend a lot of time in chat rooms. I came up with the nickname quietbird as 1 I wasn't quiet and 2 I wasn't a bird cos I don't have feathers or fly. It got shortened to qb and then when I got married I added the wife bit. |

Ours is from me finding out that she was on here being very naughty and our other names were given to us by a friend who named her Pervette and mine by the most common comment when we went in chat. |

Different question but do you find daft or crude usernames off putting?
I won't even look at a profile or respond to a message if the username puts me off.
Judgemental maybe but I'd far rather have a more vanilla username.... |
