That Tescos finest pork sausages used to live outdoors and run around being happy little sausages.
What interesting things have you learnt from your food packets and cartons.

Be careful with those marketing gurus.
Outdoor bred pork, means they are born outdoors and stay there until weaned, then they come inside.
It's better than lots of other farming ways, but they are being a bit deceptive in how they name it. |

"People with nut allergies can have a reaction from having sex with someone who has eaten Brazil nuts, this does not happen with any nut other than the Brazil."
What happens if they are having sex with a Brazil nut in Brazil? Are they cured? x |

Not always.
We have pig farms near us where each animal has its own little field and a hut to shelter in

Legislation states that a animal must spend a minimum amount of days to be classed as outdoor bred. Once they have lived in the outdoors for that time period they can be fed or reared indoors for any length of time then.
In my opinion the best meat is to be had from the local butcher as they tend to source from smaller and more local farms where the intensity on providing meat for the mass food producers is less. |

Yes, I think most people who read the words 'outdoor bred' would assume the animal lived its whole life outdoors. |
