How do you dress for a social?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

I used to do the works, always wore stockings, suspenders and heels. Usually with a dress. Recently when I had one I just wore jeans, a vintage top and my casual shoes. It was one of the best socials I've had and I felt comfortable.

What do you wear?

Something I'm comfy in, jeans and heels or a skirt.

I don't do the full works as my socials tend to be just that

Wrexham

I've only had the one social and I honestly didn't think to wear anything beyond what I usually wear.

Jeans, t-shirt and my skeleton trainers.

I don't look too bad in my casual clothes, I look terrible in smart things.

Definitely think it's all about what you feel good in and comfy. Was chatting to a friend other day about same thing. She's going to her first social end of month and guy she's going with basically said he wanted her to look tarty. So she was asking me what the women wore at ones I've been to

Usually a dress so if it turns into more, they have easy access

Just kidding!

It depends whether day or night but usually make a huge effort to look my best, and a teeny bit sexy

I always dress casual. Either shirt or t shirt, always with jeans and adidas trainers.

Just where I need to be.

Last social jeans, boots and lace top. I tend to wear quirky dresses and boots. I prefer comfort and be relaxed so when we have a real meet I dress up with the stockings, heels and little black dress.

It depends on the situation. My first social was a coffee, so I wore a polo shirt and jeans. My second was at a club, so I went a little smarter with trousers, collar and cuffs.

I don't dressed smart. I've dressed casual. It depends who I'm meeting and what I think they're going to wear. I wouldn't want to look like I hadn't bothered.

I turn up in whatever I'm comfortable in, however I mostly ask how they would like me to dress.

I have turned up in a fitted dress and converse before for a hotel meet!

Have said exactly same to her. Me and my G/f are going to same social as her so told her to come to us if he is. Definitely don't need people telling you what to wear

There and to the left a bit

The two socials I've had I've worn smart jeans and a shirt and unless there was something about the social that called for different either way, that's how I'd dress for any future ones.

Mine has ladders in it, more like a whale net. In fact the resemblance between me in it and a whale in a net is remarkable. Jim Royal eat your heart out

Never wore stockings and suspenders for a social meet. Depends on the weather and occasion. Usually a dress if it's a big organised social just as I would on a girls night out. Though also bumped into someone and chatted in my gym clothes.

For a social i wear casual clothes, jeans, t shirt, converse, summer dress if the weather is hot. I always wear nice bra and pants. I never ever wear stocking, heels, short skirts for a social. I never ever wear them at all.

For a meet im naked, in a towel or sarong because we meet in clubs.

I have always made an effort though, always sqeaky clean, shaved were needed, clean bouncy hair, clean teeth, little bit of make up and pretty jewllery, light perfume. Its a shame that some people dont make the same effort.

It depends on the social. I always make the effort to look nice but if it's a daytime coffee I'm generally in jeans and a nice top. For an evening social it might be a dress.

I wouldn't meet anyone who tried to tell me what to wear
