Escorted off the premises with a suitable complaint to the agency. Only way to deal with it. And if your employers don't deal with it in that way ask for an immediate risk assessment as to how you are safe to work alongside them |

this - we employ a fair few agency staff and this is pretty much how we deal with them |

Run around screaming were doooooomed all doooooomed.
Then have a cuppa and a sit down and a chuckle thinking about the super glue you've put on his chair |

I've been in this situation. Go and see your manager and tell him or her what happened, ensure they record what you're saying and ask for a copy for yourself. This might seem over the top but the experience I had makes me very cautious in these situations. Also occasionally people are agency staff simply because their behaviour means are not employable long term. I'm at pains to point out that this applies to only very few agency staff.
It's awful when an incident like this happens, I expect you feel a bit shaken up. |

Thanks, everyone.
He basically said to watch my back as hes sure he'll find my mistakes and he'll escalate my unsafe practice.
I was just completely taken aback by a professional shouting at me.
But thanks everyone.

And I tell the agency that they are suspended from our supplier list.

As others have said escalation and reporting of issues is the most appropriate step. Safety of staff is paramount and by highlighting it any possible themes around the behaviour of this individual can be identified and they can be suitably removed.
As others said also notifying their agency is an effective step as their link to the company will be more important to them long term than any particular individual |

Most definitely. But I also think the senior on this morning should of moved him and given him different service users rather than those who complained
It was a tosh situation all around

don't leave anything out, I assume by your use of the phrase 'service users' you work in some form of care work or similar if so what would happen if he blow up like that with a service user? |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
We use a lot of temps. One was over heard telling a permanent member of staff to fuck off. He was sacked within the hour.
Also, make sure you check out your bullying and harassment policy. It sounds like this person could be unsafe to work around. Don't let it go. |
