What's the song that takes you back to your youth?

Mine is Arctic Monkeys I Bet You Look Good on The Dancefloor. It brings back memories of house parties and drinking on the beach!

There and to the left a bit

Anything Two Tone/New Wave/Punk immediately transports me back there...if only it really could like a musical TARDIS kind of thing *sigh*

I named this as the tune that gets me reaching for the volume button! You just HAVE to do the drums right?!

T-Spoon - Sex on the Beach.

I remember dancing around to this song when I was on holiday at the age of 6, with not a clue in the world about what the lyrics meant.

My teens was David Guetta - When love takes over.

I think I see an unintentional pattern going on here.....

Pearl Jam - Alive (last year of school I think)

Welcome to the Jungle - GnR

I used to play ice hockey, this always played during the warm up. If this and Europe - the final countdown are played in quick succession I still get a rush of adrenaline.

Oh dear I feel old.

La Bamba takes me back to my youth.

Los lobos not Ritchie Vallens... I'm not that old!

Summers spent in short mini skirts and bikini tops.

Oh and Glen Frey - Heat is on. Roller discos skating around at warp speed

Sugar We're Going Down by Fall Out Boy and basically any single from American Idiot by Greenday reminds me of being like 14/15, the Ramones remind me of being 15 and above.

I thought I was so cool and punk with my red and black striped Ramones top, my Jack Skellington bags, my bright pink and black striped hoodie and my Very Berry pink Converse.

Sit down by James, went to see them live and it turned out to be the most legendary night out in the history of my circle of friends, even to the point that people who weren't there bring it up lol

We went to a club and we not only discovered Guinness and babysham, but jack Daniels and in a can.

Someone should make a film about that night, it was our spike island

Love most GnR songs,

Final countdown is a great track but the 2000 remix is much better IMO, have you heard it peachy?

Edinburgh

Nirvana - Smells like Teen Spirit & The Offspring - Self Esteem.

They were the ones that got me into those bands and from there my music tastes developed.

But I also use to hate my parents taste in music as a kid. Now, I appreciate it a lot more, stuff like Bob Seger, Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Blues/Jazz.
