Should my friend name and shame a couple who wound him up.
Told him they were Positive then after he was tested and came back negative he told them.
They blocked him and hid their profile.
Comments what to do. |

"How does he report to Admin? "
Go to thier profile and there should be a report link on there...click on it and tell admin the story....tell him good luck |

Several issues.
If these people had anything, I think they would have told him they had HIV not AIDS.
He would only potentially catch it if he had bareback sex with them. Extremely unlikely otherwise. Even if he had, not certain.
If the story your friend told you is true, the clinic would have told him, it might not show up in a test for 12 weeks anyway. He'd be going back.
So, I think your friend might be not giving you the *full story* ....
In any case, he can report them to admin. Admin can see the message that have been exchanged and act accordingly. |

People obviously find results at different points, so perhaps they were relaying information as soon as they got it?
Inappropriate behavior can be reported to admin, blocked or not.
3 months lapsed time after action is needed to be closer to 100% sure of the result |

"Thanks. Have given details to admin.
Have asked him about the testing.
He only saw them once last year and was safe sex.
Lets see what Admin do about it. "
My advice is to leave it with admin and let it go. |

If your friend is telling the truth I suggest he puts it behind him and stops digging a hole for himself by association because of one-sided story that is best consigned to the bin in the corner marked " Chalk it down to experience" |

Without corroboration from those involved I would take it with a pinch of salt
Sometimes these friend wind up stories end up being a wind up story themselves.....

The chances of him contracting HIV from protected straight sex although not impossible is extremely unlikely. As for naming and shaming as has already been said it is possible that they were just doing the right thing and informing former sexual partners as long as it wasn't a "Haha we've infected you" message then he would be on very shaky ground naming and shaming, I agree inform admin in case there was malice but other than that just thank his lucky stars he used protection. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"Thanks for all the advise. He has reported it and put it behind him. "
And go back to be retested. Anyone HIV positive now and on ARV treatment are very, very low risk and unlikely to pass the virus on. |
