..similar to the 'famous last words' thread but this is more to do with famous regrets...
Such as:
Executives of Xerox when presented with the new technology of manipulating things on a computer screen with a handheld device, "There is no way we can sell something called a 'mouse' to the American public! It'll never catch on!" |

Decca records turned down the Beatles as they saw no future for groups like that.
Commodore computers were once approached by the makers of the star trek film about the whales as they wanted a nice graphics handling computer for one of the scenes. Commodore threatened them with legal action if they used one of their computers. Apple on the other hand sent a computer and a technician so that they could get the best out of it. |
