I've got a thick Scottish accent, and I've been told it's a turn, but I can't see why! That being said an Irish, Liverpool or American accent always gets me going more than others!
So... what accents get you going? |

Well I've worked alongside Scottish people for many years and there is huge difference in regional accents ,,,,
Would you not be able to tell Aberdonian from a Glaswegian or the accent of a native of Edinburgh ... ,
That's what regional accents are ... |

That is true, but I'd say a Falkirk is like a Glasgow accent, Kirkcaldy is you classic fifer! I'm more a Glasgow accent with some Edinburgh vonacular x |

Falkirk accent isn't like a Glasgow accent. You'll most likely have the wee singing accent like Stirling. I'm right next to Glasgow and I don't sound like a Glaswegian.
But then you peers and people in your work place may influence your accent. |

Even Glasgow as a city has different accents, someone from Bearsden has a very different accent and style of speaking than someone in Easterhouse. |

Being Australian living and working here I have two have very distinct versions of my voice. One is my "phone/work" voice and the other is far more... ummm.. broad. I get a 50/50 mix of who likes which version.
Articulation and care in how someone communicates is more attractive than a specific accent. |

I love Scottish and Irish accents (although I cant understand them)
And obviously being welsh myself, I love Welsh accents too (the deeper and huskier the better).
My accent is a bit diverse, welsh but slightly scouse, with a hint of manc and a fair bit of Cheshire all wacked in  |
