What would you exactly expect them to do in 3 hours? Perhaps the had a deluge of messages in 20 minutes whilst trying to set up their profile and thought better of it? |

my first week i had no pics, i had no accom or travel, suprisingly i had no verifications and i wanted to see what site was about.. i gotover 200 messages asking to meet in first week until i added filters etc |

I try and read most of the forum posts, the threads, even try and join in. Most though seem pretty pointless. The snog, marry, avoid and smile one's I get. The others though, like this on seem to exist merely to have a moan about something.
I've seen 'we don't judge' responses to many of these diatribes and to be frank I whole heartedly agree. Don't judge. Don't moan about. Don't be condescending.

With all the disappointments that trying to meet brings (timewasters etc..) it's all too easy to become cynical/conditioned to think, "Here's another". You wouldn't be wrong to think like that, it just means the new person has to learn quick, make their profile appealing and get verified etc..
Others can be overly optimistic but that's great for them too. Everyone to their own. |
