Scientists at the Erasmus University in The Netherlands have conducted a study and have concluded that the most admired figure - expressed as a ratio of 0.7 - was the same as the vital statistics of stars from the golden age of cinema, including Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor...
The ratio is achieved by having a waist 10 inches slimmer than the hips, so if you have a 25 inch waist and are 35 inches around the hips then you have the perfect ratio and the ideal.
In order to reach their findings, the scientists showed 585 plastic surgeons and 450 members of the public in 40 countries images of a 27 yr old model that were digitally altered to create a range of body shapes, and overall 39% (the biggest group) found that the 0.7 waist to hip ratio was their ideal...
so it must be true, right? |

"Uh, the ratio of 0.7 isn't always going to mean a 10 inch difference.
I DO do mathsy stuff."
I just copied it from an article in the paper so tell them as I couldn't care less |
