Did you recharge you batteries?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Weekend is over, but did you wind down, have a blow out, relax with family?

Monday comes around too quickly, so what did you do over the weekend, and what would you rather be doing to recharge your energy to get ready for another working week?

Morning all - I feel more knackered now than at the start of the weekend, it's been hectic!

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Tried to recharge but it just didn't happen. Ended up continually thinking of things that could be done and doing them.

I cycled 70 miles yesterday, 50 of them was part of an organised event, my batteries got well and truely drained and now there only about 10% recharged.

Sounds like my weekend. Constantly finding things to do instead of relaxing. I think it's time I unplugged and went dark (24 fans know what I mean )

I just googled it. That's a great way to keep grounded, and wind down. Very nice.

That's a problem isn't it? Sometimes we need to remind ourselves to do something just for you. Be a little selfish. Life is shorter than we think.

Nope I don't feel recharged at all. Not beena very good weekend, but today's a new day. Gym done, I'm smiling ready to start a new week.

I could've done with laying on a nice beach somewhere drinking cocktails. I am however at a festival next weekend, next best thing

6 is all I need. I can survive in 4hrs.

I hope you pick up through the week. Coffee helps.

I get to the gym at 6.30 for pre work spin class or bootcamp. I'd happily join you for a cocktail now love cocktails could do with a good drink after the shitty weekend I've just had

Was working late Thursday, then was ill Friday morning and went out a drive to Lossiemouth on Friday night.

Had a BBQ on Findhorn beach on Saturday with my younger siblings then chilled out with the other half and watched some tv. Had some nice dinner.

Then had a lie in Sunday, got up and went out for breakfast, cleaned all the animal cages and cleaned the flat a bit with the other half. Ordered a new washing machine and tumble dryer then chilled and watched some tv. Went to bed and had some mutual fun. Then went to bed.

Still tired

Would rather still be in bed for another few hours but we both have work
