New Car

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Im currently on the lookout for a new car.

This basically means my dad looking at cars (this is still a dad job despite my age!) whilst I drag my heels and insist he should just pick one for me.

What's making you drag your heels at the moment? That job you should get done but don't?

I actually got round to it today.

Designing and laying out new promotional material for next years advertising campaigns. I usually leave it 'til the last possible moment as I generally hate doing it.

nothing. i just don't want a car. but i'm the only driver in the household atm and a car is a necessary evil, the gf is long term on crutches and realistically we sort of need one.

I get this. I currently share a car but very rarely use it. Im planning some long distance trips though and it would help a lot!

Car shopping is doing my head in.

Have to do mine myself. Went to test drive 1 a few days ago, but the monkey in the garage was a condescending prick, so I left.

You used to be able to rely on certain manufacturers for reliability, mine broke down the day I bought it with 45 miles on the clock lol. Had it repaired on warranty and week later it broke again. Been nearly 2 years with it and still get trouble. Never buy bm again.

Every time the Formula 1 is on you can guarantee at least 2 broken Hondas

I live in London but come from Perth point your dad in the direction of Alan Storrar Cars in Perth, they have some top cars there and always have discounts available, I've bought a couple from there over the years
