Been looking at cars, but not impressed with things like storage.. Somewhere to put loose change pens etc.

Looking in a clio 14 plate.. No ciggy lighter to plug in charger for phones sat navs.

Thought it had one but when i pulled the lid off, it had a red and white socket thingy

I've a 15 plate Clio and you plug your charging wire into the port on the stereo.

You're welcome

And Misterbee... get with the times. Everyone Bluetooth's music these days

My biggest bugbear in a car is cup holders not big enough to fit my coffee mug in or them being too far back for me to reach comfortably when driving.

I know what you mean. I buy Buxton water bottles (other brands available) and they wont fit in the holder so it goes on the passenger seat and leaks a wet patch

I hate those cars without indicators on them. There seems to be a lot of them about at the moment.

Otherwise, parking sensors. My car has them, the Mrs' car doesn't and the amount of times I keep on reversing waiting for the beeps but the car won't go any further back...oops.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Automatic door locks that lock when you start moving but need the engine to be switched off to let a passenger out! Very frustrating when your passenger wants to get out quickly at the traffic lights!

Why Honda felt the need for a spoiler that blocks out 75% of the rear view is beyond me

Don't get me started on their definition of comfort! Nearly took it back after a few days....have got quite used to it now and it

Get a skoda, lots of storage, the auto door locks from the outside but passengers can override this by opening from the inside. Comes with a brolly. You can get a little bin.

I've not long graduated to an L200 from a Defender. I'm still impressed that it can be a different temperature in the cab to the outside, theat the windows work and don't fall into the door every so often, the doors remain shut 100% of the time and that I don't have to adjust for the wond if I'm going over 50mph.....

I do hate that the doors lock every time I start the vehicle though, its annoying when you get out to do the gate.

Get a top box and you can carry all the loose change and pens you need, maybe fit a little petrol generator in the boot which would run your tyre or inflator

Or

Live a little, get a sports car and join the aa or related service for the days your tyres need inflating

No, there are indicators on them they are just SO small or hidden in the brake light.

Although technically they do meet the safety requirements.

These indicators are my bug bare

A car designer friend said its to allow styling. I said what about safety?

First extra I bought was a spare wheel, albeit a space saver, and a decent jack, deep socket and 20" bar. No pissing around with the crappy stuff that comes with it.....

Every night you see idiots driving round with no rear lights because they have front lights and the instruments are illuminated...

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Stereos that switch off when the engine is off - on stop/start cars!

Audi indicators - too "jazz hands" for me, you're turning a corner, not guest-presenting the Graham Norton show....

Reverse cameras that switch off as soon as you come out of reverse, but take 5 seconds to launch when you go in - meaning that if you're doing a multi point turn, you have to keep waiting.

My car doesn't have a "flash headlights" position, just a full beam one. So I flash people for about 2 seconds... . Bizarrely, there's a direction the stalk won't go which would be ideal...
