In ten years time...

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

My life itself is pretty similar to where I was and what I was doing 10 yrs ago. But some things are changing now and I imagine my life to be a hell of a lot different in ten years time.

Where do you see yourself in ten years time? What do you want to be doing?

A lot has changed for me in the last 10 years. I've changed career, become single and bought my own house.

Where do I want to be in the next 10 years? I'm not so sure,I'm happy just to see what life brings.

I try not to think that far in the future. With hubby's job we never know where we will be in 6to 12 months time. I'm just happy and content with the now

Spent the last 10 years or more building a business. Now just retired, with all that I need. I go biking where and when I want and gigging some weekends when free. Got my house, land and cars. Just enjoying everything I have.

God life has changed so much for me in the last 2 years, that thinking 10 years in advance is a biggie.

I think In many ways lots of things won't have changed because they are just a constant. But hopefully mr has retired fully and we can get all the time together we want. My sons will be happy within their social care services and put less caring duties on me. My daughter will be married or living away from home and I will just be happy to enjoy the life I can have x

Won't be swinging but hopefully getting ready to hand over the reins to the youngsters.

See how they get on with hubby taking more of a back seat.

Mind you, knowing him, he will work till the day they pop him into the big oven.

your imagination

As long as I'm happy, it doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing. I shouldn't even be alive now but here I am, almost 3.5 years later

Where I want to be in 10 years time? I suppose still being alive is a long term goal. I guess I just want the basics, good health and fortune.

The last 10 years, when I look back, have been amazing....... love to tell you all over tea and cake

Life is good for me, so I'll be more than happy if things don't change a too much for me over the next 10 years...

...

Who knows.

The last 10 years have given me much heartache and sadness, I like to think the next won't hold any more.

I would like to throw on a dress and get married to someone who adores me, have a couple more children and finally sort my career.

I will graciously roll with whatever happens.

I'm winging life currently and it's working out pretty well

In ten years I'd like to be back in America, own my own home again, be working in the legal sector again, and everything else can be what it may. I know I'll be back in the US and in my own home, but the rest of it is up in the air, and I'm cool with that.

The past ten years have been nothing like I expected, and they've been good anyway, so I'm up for whatever comes.

I have to admit to feeling a slight pang of envy when I read the posts from people who will be 35, 40, 50 in ten years. They have so much in front of them and the excitement of all of life's goal and milestones. Then I remember that I've lived it, enjoyed it (mostly lol) and I'm looking at it with hindsight.

Enjoy everyone, it goes by in a flash and one day you'll be posting on a thread like this with your 70th birthday being in ten years time wondering where the hell the time went

10 years ago I had my own business

and all the worry and stress that came with it but also the freedom and creativity to do it my way.

In ten years time my career will be totally different, I'll have graduated and will have been working for some time in a sector that is rewarding yet challenging. Hopefully much happier in my personal life and far more independent than I've ever been

In ten years I'd like to think I was living in America. I always wanted to when I was in my teens and never got round to it. That's why I take holidays there each year.

Ten years seems so far away. In all honesty, I have no idea. Get that PhD done, have some children? Maybe marriage?

Actually there are a few things I'd like to do. I want to go back to Wisconsin. And be there for my family more.

Oh well, in five years time we could be walking round a zoo

With the sun shining down over me and you

And there'll be love in the bodies of the elephants too

And I'll put my hand over your eyes but you'll peek through
