Me (Scarlett)and a couple of mates were starving after a night out on Saturday so decided to go to Macdonalds across the road from our hotel. We found out only the drive through was open but rather than let this deter us we walked though the drive through. Even pretended to roll down the window and ask the mate in the back seat for their order much to our amusement. The guys in the car behind us didn't look impressed. We didn't push in though so they had to wait their turn. Considering this was 3.00 in the morning another couple joined in too. We said they could get a lift as we had a minibus but they were happy to wait their turn 3 cars back.

have giggled over this since.

Just gutted we didn't take any photos

Now thats mean, scrubs KFC off my list. We were going to go there but one mate is a veggie. It's probably a H&S thing with the cars etc. MCD's wouldn't take our order at the speaker but did say to move on at our turn to the next window. I nearly wet myself.

Bristol East

Lol

Fab

Reminded me of something I saw in town one afternoon when the traffic was busy and started taling back up the street.

The queue reached the pelican crossing where a guy was waiting for the green man to come on. When it did, and the beep-beep-beep, a car was stationary on the crossing in front of him.

So he sighed, looked round, opened the back door of the car, crawled over the back seat and out the other side.

The driver's face was a picture!

There was a story a few weeks ago about a guy who tried to order from the drive thru window only to be told he couldn't as it was for cars only. So he went home, got in his car, drive to the same McD's, placed his order, drove away... and got nicked for drink driving!

We did consider asking one of the car drivers to take our order for us but a few drinks had made us silly.

What about people who don't drive at all. Its a bit discrimatory (is that a word ??) to those who get a big mac craving in the middle of the night. I might write to them and suggest and walk through
