Police believe a spate of deaths in the north of England has been caused by heroin laced with fentanyl, an opioid 100 times stronger than street heroin, and its chemical cousin carfentanil, which is 100 times stronger again and used by vets to tranquilise elephants.

There is a video on Reddit of a male snorting a line while at work. He thought it was Ketamine took two steps and keeled over dead.
The stuff is crazy strong and can be absorbed through the skin as a lethal dose so they would have you believe. |

The typical process in America was get hurt, get put on pills, then lose pills but still have pain or need, start buying black market pills then transition to heroin, because its cheaper.
The sad part is its avoidable in some cases (use cannabis), or a user could sustain a normal life with the right treatment. Even while using. |

Believe me I've had addiction problems in the past....which if you don't include alcohol it was not drug related...but in the time I was recovering I mixed with drug users and yes I can say you can't trust them as the need for the next hit is greater then anything else....but like all society there are good people in there hoping to somehow get out of the hell they have gotten themselves in. |

So have I....but I have also seen quite a few who have turned their life around...but this thread I thought was about something far worse then your normal drugs.
Ps I used to hate drug takers too until I found alcohol has destroyed my life's and my life became fucked due to it....but many on here do not view that as a drug as it can be bought legally over the counter. Which I used to view it as such. |

I (Mr) was on fentanyl a strong dose too for about 4months leading up to a surgery. Took me about that same time to get off it and lost 16kgs in the process.

Same here...but for me it's the smug fuckers who take legal drugs like alcohol and ruin their livers and lives...steal off their families and lie to everyone about thier addiction to alcohol but feel it's good to judge others.
And no I've never taken an illegal drugs in my life...and I no longer drink alcohol. |

Some do some don't just the same as people who drink alcohol...but you are condemning one group whilst not admitting to the fact that your chosen drug costs society a fortune.
And my point was on your first post where you stated that druggies are a burden on the nhs..so I stated the costs of both.
In a ideal world no there would be no drug abusers in both respects...but it's not going to happen either way. |

My chosen drug??? I don't take drugs, well apart from drugs for arthritis, but I get them from a very clean shop called a chemist.
I can only guess that your lifestyle includes druggies. You protest too much! Oh and if you mean aglass of wine is my drug then yep .... I will be going out soon to break into people's house for a bottle of Grigio ... |

I honestly don't know, all I can think of is that's it's because there's a ferry terminal and docks so it's the 1st port of call as it were when it enters the country? |
