God been so many over the years.
Two of the best were definitely Counting Crows and Lenny Kravitz at Werchter festival about 2009. Both blew me away.
For 10-10 for effort would be Seb Bach (Skid Row) at Marcos in Edinburgh. They'd booked to play same night as Whitesname and Def Leppard were playing and it was dead. He played to an empty room like it was a packed stadium that night - then the Mrs and I took him to a strip bar on Lothian Rd |

For technical excellence probably Steely Dan, for sheer foot stamping, arse kicking, funktastick hard rock riffing then Trapeze (4 piece lineup) at The Marquee |

In no particular order;
Kasabian,
Scissor Sisters (I know, but brilliant live),
Blondie (Again, I know, but a legend),
Highly Suspect,
Metallica,
Limp Bizkit were the best I've seen live. |

Great White's pyro tech probably thought like that too in 2003 |

"Just been to Glastonbury and my two faves were Kate Tempest and the Flaming Lips.
Closely followed by Elbow though "
The Flaming Lips are awesome live. It's a toss up between them and Augustine's for us. |

Guns n roses in 1993. 1st concert. Awesome. Pleasantly surprised by Stereo mc's at Glastonbury a few years back. Best recent live are Bring Me The Horizon, crowd are just nuts and that's what makes it. |

I'll bite.
Vile band.
And most people's contempt of a notorious beo-nazis band has nothing to do with being PC or right in amd us about being a decent human being.

I'm not even a fan but saw Basement Jaxx when they were supporting Robbie Williams and they were amazing. Don't even know if they still perform together x |

Not really my type of music but Slipknot put on an amazing show. But I've seen hundreds if not thousands of bands live over the last 3p years so it's a hard call. Frank Turner consistently puts on amazing live shows and along with Skinny Lister and Ferocious Dog are the only current bands I go out of my way to see.
Carter USM's final comedown gigs were amazing, I saw Jane's Addiction amd Nirvana at year peak, manic when thet were a 4 piece playing 30 minute sets in pubs, so many amazing shows, it's hard to find a favourite |

"Kasabian are the best that I've seen live. Going to see muse soon too and have heard good things"
Muse have been awesome each time I've seen them
One of the best ever gigs I saw was Portishead in a 'secret' venue which turned out to be a tiny central London nightclub. The intimacy of listening to them in a small space with just 200 or so others was mindblowing. |

"U2 are by the best at putting on a live show, obviously you have to like their music first of course ."
Whilst I'd agree that U2 put on fantastic shows that go beyond the music - I'd say Muse have surpassed them in that respect - the last tour was a simply mindblowing experience all round. |

I saw within temptation live at Wembley with Delian suporting.
I've seen nightwish with taja live but I've got to say, the last uk gig also at Wembley with the new singer Floor was amazing, it was head and shoulders above the last within temptation gig I saw.
But endless forms most beautiful is in my opinion a better album than hydra was.

I saw Radiohead a few weeks ago in Stockholm, an amazing gig! And not a slit-wrist in sight it bettered Paul McCartney at Glastonbury.
Expecting them both to be bettered by Depeche Mode later this year though! Can't wait |
