I've a couple of really, really annoying insect bites on my leg, that are just begging to be scratched, knowing full well that doing so will only make them worse

Sounds weird I know, but an instant, short-term treatment is to get a fingernail and press a 'cross' directly onto the area that's stinging. Vertical, then horizontal (roughly) if that makes sensense. Trust me this isn't an old wives tale. As a former military medic this works brilliantly!  |
