Has anyone seen it? It's a rag I wouldn't wipe my bum with (you'd get more shit on) but I spotted the front page this morning and am seriously considering leaving this site just in case.

The piece was about a picture from a swinging site and moral outrage about a fireman taking a picture of a woman on a fire engine.

It's also in the well known font of moral outrage the Daily Mail.

The old water carrier has been a bit naughty with this one though. I don't understand why people do something this silly.

Fab is always in The Sun.

A slow news week, not that we can call that particular publication a NEWSpaper but you get the idea, they pop in a sensationalist piece about swingers. Fab is usually named.

You get used to it after a while......as long as they don't publish details from your profile

Nope! Actually not met a fireman yet but I'm not averse to the idea!

Seriously though, it's my privacy that's the issue

I can understand the issue from the Fire Brigade's point of view...as it said in the article, the fireman was 'misusing brigade equipment' and potentially putting lives at risk.

HOWEVER

The Sun is in absolutely NO position to lecture its readership on 'sexual morality' when sales of its papers have, for decades, been driven primarily by parading naked women on the inside cover...

Moreover, if you go onto their website, the article expressing 'outrage' concerning the conduct of the fireman is on the same page as adverts linking to the following items of 'news':

Pics of a naked 'pre boob job' 32B Katie Price,

Page 3 Girl Danielle Sellers' joins 'Love Island'

Mum (age 38) faces jail for seducing two underage lads

Jessica Shears' post 'Love Island' sexploits with Dom Lever

Certain members of the public thrive on such news. It's a form of gossip.

But let's face it, it's rather stupid to flaunt such matters when working in a public position.

I'm not saying it should, but we all know it attracts attention. I'm sure there's numerous fake profiles on here from journalists looking for a story.

Yeah...the DM are even launching an appeal on their website:

"Do you know the couple?

Email amie.gordon@mailonline.co.uk or

ring 020 361 53729"

Why don't we all send in hoax calls and e-mails?

We could name the couple as Samuel Peyton Jones and Penny Morris, both originally from Wales...see how long it would take them to twig...

Perhaps not the best move posting that on here...."

Why not? You think I'll offend the 'Fireman Sam' fanboys?

It's against the forum rules to post your contact details or those of other fab users.

The contact details that I posted are clearly advertised in the DM article covering the issue with which this thread is concerned...in other words, they are already freely available to the general public.
