I can't watch it. The Dragons remind me of every interview panel I've attended. Always feel sorry for the people.
Saw the new dragon in the press: bet she has a painting of herself in her attic: frightful looking woman! |

I think this programme and The Apprentice are the biggest waste of airtime currently on the box.
It's not reality tv, it's just stage managed garbage, shite and drivel.
I'm not in the least, entertained by watching shit scared people, cowering at the prospect of being told how useless they are.

What a horror!
She is trying far too hard to be the dragon with attitude & it just is not working.
She will hopefully be given the boot by the next series.
We watched tonight but she was so annoying & hopefully her fashion advisor will be sacked!!
What a bloody mess she looked, stuck in the 80's or what?
Totally out of place next to the other "real" dragons.
Check out how Theo gives her the evil's everytime she speaks. |

Power dressing using shoulder pads that big went out in the 80s (her outfit looks like a Kenny Everett caricature) ... her face looks nipped, tucked and frozen within an inch of its life and her voice sounds like half a hundred weight of gravel churning in a cement mixer. Just horrible! |

I recorded it so will watch it later, but the new dragon was in an episode of the Secret Millionaire a while back.
I don't know how she'll fare on Dragon's Den but at the end of Secret Millionaire she became almost endearing.
She's not had an easy life, that's for sure, and all her money has been earned. Which is more than can be said for Deborah Meaden.
And she's been very successful financially, which is more than can be said for the woman who bankrupted Red Letter Days whose name escapes me.
I think I'll give it a few episodes before I make up my mind. |

Though I haven't watched the programme, from the trailers and Press articles in advance of the new series that I've seen, I can only describe her as a dead ringer for Cruella de Ville from Disney's "101 Dalmatians". Maybe they did use her as the role model??
Whatever her outward looks, she did express almost human tendencies in "Secret Millionaire".
Methinks I'll be watching Dragon's Den from behind the sofa! |

Like most of the "reality" shows, it's fixed! Friends of ours were on Dragons Den in Valentines Day about 5 years ago. The product was crap, the pitch was heavily scripted and not at all how the product was developed and there were sycophantic comments from the Dragons… Funny how no one invested!!! Would be interesting to see some products that were featured and see how they have fared? As in what the failure rate is.

There have been update programmes to show how some of the Inventors have fared, plus for some who initially got money promised, but failed to actually get their funds for whatever reasons.
The failure rate is very high; it is said that only 2% of sales pitches actually succeed.
It is actually said that the UK series is very tame in comparison to other countries' versions. |

The new judge reminds me of Barbara the taxi driver. 
I loved her clothes though! It's like she walked straight off the set of Dynasty! WTF!? |
