When do you add someone. Before a meet? After? When youve been chatting awhile.

Ive just realized after knowing a "friend" for over 4 years and quite a few meets weve never added each other as a friend

My friends list is quite small.. I generally only add people once we've met and I know they're not nutters lol. I'm not someone who accepts every friend invite I get. Having said that, I've bent that rule for a few forumites that I chat to regularly off the smile thread

There are occasions where I'm too nervous to send a friend request as I know how annoying it is when it's not wanted.

Usually add if a meet is imminent but wont just add anyone. Used to add alot of guys .. but did a clean sweep and started again including those i have known a while. Most men are just after perving your pics to be honest.
