So lately in the past few weeks ive been feeling the best i have about myself in years and i pay more attention to hair & make up.

Ive recently got a man in my life and he tells me i'm beautiful regardless if i wear it and noticed that he only 'likes' pictures where the make up is minimal /non existent.

Typical that im starting to enjoy wearing it and he's not fussed by it.

I see your point.. the level of makeup on my profile picture is that i was going out.

Day to day its just neutral tones with mascara

Hahaha I go thro make up surges too. Atm I'm minimal, I just wear pale pink eyeshadow on my lid, mascara, I light brush of bronzer on my cheek bones n pink sparkly lippy.

But this is precisely my look

I love playing with the make up box. Any man worth his salt will like you just as much painted as unpainted. It's the same foundations after all.

I do it because its fun and i enjoy being creative.. i used to apply it thinking 'wonder if i'll pull'.. but now its just for personal enjoyment..

its like a temporary mask that allows me to feel a bit sexy (if i can say that)..

little house on the praire

Ive never worn a lot of makeup since my youth.

I like lipstick.

I can honestly say i have never asked a guy if he would prefer me to wear more makeup or not. Ive never even asked. I have no intention of wearing loads of makeup. I did it for a photo shoot once and felt like a clown

I wonder if it runs in the family. My sister is 50 next year and has never had makeup on her face even on.her wedding day. My mum wears minimal. Wonder if we pick up habits

Could be the whole nurture thing.. if youve not seen it you cant be influenced by it.

Having said that my mother/grandma dont wear it.

I have loads of friends who do wear it though so perhaps its down to them/media where i get the urge to try it out

your imagination

Rarely wear makeup. Job interviews and big events are about it. It gives me that extra bit of confidence for the challenge ahead when I do wear it though, which it wouldn't do if I wore it every day.

You're a lucky girl. Sounds like a keeper

I rarely wear make up if I do it's mascara and a neutral eye shadow

I've been pleasantly surprised at the amount of men I've met on here that aren't keen on make up and lots that hate lipstick

If you want to wear make up, wear it, if you don't, then don't. Do what makes you happy and comfortable. I'm sure he loves you with or without so do what suits you x

Traffic land

I've not worn any make up for weeks. I go through fits and phases, recently I've just curled my eyelashes and used lip balm and that's all. But I guess that just means I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin.

My mum was/is great with hair and make up, but I never seemed to pick that up from her, especially hair, it's all I can do to comb it, I have no skill in this area whatsoever!

A beautiful lady about 25 served me today in a shop , and from my perspective she certainly did not need whatever the powder was that was sprinkled across her face?
