just had a great insulting message just made me laugh
i am just wondering how many people would have been the same as me and just laughed at the insult
or are you the blocking and telling admin about it

ye i had a few knob heads private message me abuse then block me....i just laugh....if i dnt get an abusive message at least twice a day i feel a little dissapointed ha ha |

I had a message the other day from a random person telling me that she knew a great weight watchers meeting that I should go to as looked like I need it??? Wtf. Now I try to not let these people upset me but this isn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last.... Just makes me wonder what those kind of people are on this site for, how sad must you be to make yourself feel better by insultings others.... The best bit was that 2 mins after they had removed them self from the site.....can give out the insults but not wanting any back maybe or just scared?? Anyway just block and move on I say |

I usually respond in kind, then block, then report if the message is very abusive.
No skin off my nose at the end of the day, as I am unlikely to meet the person.  |

Amazing that but not surprising there are people around who just like ta insult and belittle others

When I had a single profile, my other single female friends and I would often get a very similar offensive, insulting message from the same profile name who would then vanish and reappear a few days later. Block, report and shrug it off. Ms |

ye it is funny, cause you say somthing on here, then people dissagree with you then PM with abuse....then block you so you carnt respond.....i find it shocking as my m8s ent that immature and there all in there 20's |

I must be lucky. no one has noticed me yet so no nasty messages. I do send a nice message now and then if i see a nice profile or foto tho.. think its good to be positive people need a boost now and then. Its a shame people have to be nasty there is no need. |

Insults..... I've had a few, but then again too few to mention...... ahem.
I once mailed a guy back asking for an explanation as to why he thought it okay sending such insulting mail especially as we had never spoken or met.
He explained it was just another way of getting attention and standing out from the crowd. Nothing personal! |

Some remarks I smile at because once they have described you as they feel your life is what can you do but ignore them as theiyre closed to being told differently. Thats their perception of something they haven't been privvy to though so water off a ducks back - you can't pander to someone elses negative imagery.
I'm definitely not thick skinned if someone gets personal about a forum opinion though if they tell me I'm such and such for having that opinion. That's hurtful and uncalled for and I expect if they're having a go at me for my posted opinions, they're also writing and raising their objections with others with a similar viewpoint. I suspect they don't and its just my turn that day. I suspect a lot of strong characters on the forums tell people off in private on a reg basis though just to test the strength of that person to check for chinks. It's all very interesting when you people watch.
