Moss Bros, are they secret swingers?

Ok so I've walking through the city centre last week and passed Moss Bros. The display in their window had 2 mannequins dressed in suits with cardboard chameleons stuck on the shoulders and waistbands of the pants.
I stared at it for a moment or two wondering why this would be.
Forward to yesterday. I'm walking past the same shop with a male friend. He commented on the display, then popped inside the shop. He spots the male assistant and says "Why have you got Chameleons on the suits in the window?"
The assistant replies "Ah, that's our Lounge Lizard collection
My friend then says "but those are chameleons, which incidentally is the international symbol of a swinger"
Assistant stood there for a moment obviously processing the information and then walks away returning 30 seconds later with a manager.
First words out of the managers mouth were "you are probably the 7th or 8th person to c mention that since the promotion started, I think I had better email head office"
Made me giggle anyway, plus he's going to put the cardboard cut outs to one side for me to collect when the promotion is over

"Must admit, I'd never heard of this 'internationally recognised symbol'!"
That's because it's an internationally recognised SECRET, that nobody knows it's an internationally recognised symbol |

"Must admit, I'd never heard of this 'internationally recognised symbol'!
I've been Googling it and found no reference to it.
Sally"
It was news to me too, however my friend wanted a chameleon tattoo ( her partnee breeds them) and the tattooist alerted her to the swingers reference too |

The fish is the other internationally recognised symbol, if you see that on the back of a car they are well in trenched in the scene.
Tap on the roof of the car in a certain way and you'll be balls deep in no time |

Why Chameleons?
Is it because they hide in plain sight?
Or perhaps that they blend in?
Personally I'm not sure about being represented by a cold blooded carnivore with a prehensile tongue and penchant for licking flies.... |
