I went to Chams last night. Happy days.
I was being my usual self, acting a bit of a nob head. Well, I cannot remember what song was playing but this fool thought it would be a good idea to power slide across the dance floor.
One did not slide.
One did not even skid.
One now has seriously friction burned knees that resemble, well, seriously burned knees.
I am going Chams again tonight. I can't even shave my bloody legs properly now.
They hurt sooooooo much

I hear that a certain type of 'lotion' can be applied, I have a tube, it is quite stiff though and you have to work it hard to get the cream out, after that you knees will feel incredible....and so will I |

I feel for you ....
I did just this at a summer ball once, early evening people still finishing deserts, dance floor right in the middle of a huge marquee surrounded by tables, band strikes up and I'm like yesss.... sprint for dance floor and go for an epic knee slide, squeak, crumpled heep on floor, lots of laughter and no more knees in my very expensive rented tux 
Oh, and no skin on knees either |
