You've just described two lads I saw when I was out just before Christmas last year, the pair were stood at the bar, clearly both worked out as they were grossly over developed on the upper body, the whole time I was there, those two just stood at the bar and never talked to each other, just looked, sorry, posed at the bar staring round the room, some people were laughing at them cause they looked so rediculous.
Sorry, went off topic, erm, no, as an old man I find it very difficult to co-ordinate my attire |

Exactly right! Over priced drinks in a tacky plastic and nylon seat are so much better sipped whilst wearing leather uppers and soles. |

I've ne er seen the point in this myself. If I'm out dancing why would I meant some stiff old leather shoes, trainers every time. However the answer to Op's question I'm a negative on that one. Although at the moment my wardrobe consists of 99% black t shirts and jeans so I guess they all go. |

so funny
my trainers would cost more than the clientele spent kitting themselves out for the night.
plimsolls and chumps should be in the other thread.

"I have about 20 pairs of trainers - half white, half colured.
Anyway I tend match my coloured trainers to the top I am wearing, I am wondering if I am only guy that does this....."
You're the only guy between me and you who does that ...... |

I'm 43 now so white trainers are a no go area for me now. There comes a point in your life when you just can't wear them any more.
When I realised I was shocked and worried to think I wouldn't be able to wear trainers any more.
Now I wear all different kinds and colours that suit what I wear day to day. Wish I'd seen the light a lot earlier in my life |

"I only really wear plain white canvas Converse. I'm not sporty enough (and don't dress sporty enough) to wear any other trainers."
Apparently there is a national shortage of white converse high-tops this year....
That's all I've got ... |

I wear trainers 99% of the time. When I'm out round town I'll put shoes on
But trainers are so much more comfatable. And all these people who drink tea with their pinky finger sticking out saying "oh my trainers should only be for running" get fucked, I often spend my entire Sunday in track suit bottoms just laying around the house with one hand on my bollocks and one on the tv remote. |

All my trainers are from Adidas Consortium.
Typically only about 500 pairs made of each style. I used to be heavily into collecting the rarest Adidas it almost became an obsession. |

I do like a Stan Smith, but I'm more of a Rod Laver fan myself. Simplistic classic designs |

Opinions are our own but I can't stand Stan Smiths
Maybe it's due to the local riffraff hanging around in them in yesteryear, all filthy and shabby but there's not anything about them I find 'for me' if you catch my drift
Currently rotating through Adidas EQT's, Gazelle's and Nike Lunar Terra Safari's |

I'm very, particular about what trainers I buy, hence why I only have 4 pairs. 5 including my gym trainers. They've got to be kind of hi-top style, but not going all the way up.
2 of the same style, one in a navy kind of blue, one in red and black...
1 in a grey/green kind of colour...
And my babies... My DCs. The comfiest, most beautiful pair of trainers there are.
White is a no-no imo. Just look tacky and like you're trying too hard. Haha.
And quite frankly, if I got turned away from an establishment for not wearing "proper footwear" it's a place I'd rather not be. |

One black pair (new), one white pair. Pretty much only confined to the gym or for airports on business trips when I'm only taking a pair of work shoes and trainers for the gym. |
