Greetings cards? Basically a piece of cardboard folded in half. That'll be £5 please!
Wedding favours? A small box containing the equivalent of about a tenth of a small bag of Skittles. They'll be £3 each...
What other retail rip-offs are there?
What else is money for old rope!? |

Wrapping paper! You wrap up a gift knowing full well that the person receiving the gift is going to rip up the wrapping paper and chuck it straight into the bin! |

Agree with whs (their greed is gradually putting them out of business).
Cinema snacks
Broadband (believe me it does not cost that much to supply Internet).
Gifts - my family use gift bags which are repeatedly recycled. Also easier for the older more infirm relatives to 'unwrap' themselves. |

They don't search your bag at cinemas yet). Just stuff it in.
Best thing in York - Poundland 50 yds from the City Screen. Although I do like a beer when I'm there. |

There are various tests made of bottled water quality and the PH scale results are significant enough for me to want to buy bottled water and not just any bottled water but specific brand.
And when it comes to purifying water, it's not always the most convenient method when out and about. |

Designer glasses. Lens are produced at about 50p per lense and the frame at 10/12 pounds but they sell them for hundreds.
Or cars. The salesman always trying to get the bigfest margin. Never trust a car salesman. |

Nearly all bottled water is acidic, nowhere near tested as much as tap water and comes to you in a plastic bottle!.
The only thing about tap water that puts people off is the chlorine taste which can be removed via a filter.
Cost wise a bottle of tap water is roughly 0.01 penny
Bottled water is a giant rip-off |
