I've only seen what i would consider normal female bodies. Some slimmer, some curvier.
I'd be interested what you class as plus size when the average UK size is a 16.

i dont see any difference on here to the average mix of sizes i'd see in real life..and as the poster above said, that means the average will be size 16...where you expecting something different on here to the normal mix of sizes you'd see anywhere else?? |

"I really do wonder why most of the women on this site is plus sized? Not a bad thing I love all sizes but wonder why "
What will happen here is, a lot women will start having a go at you, then a lot of the men will also have a go at you to defend the honour of the women.
All because of an observation.
But I think there is more "above average size" than "below average size" women on here. Could be wrong and I wouldn't be able to tell you why that is |

16 to me is a plus size but it could also depend on height, that's just me personally though I never knew that was the uk average.
I would of thought a 12 would've been the average. Maybe because that's more of what I see Day to Day |

Ok Ill rephrase I see smaller sized girls than bigger. Your right I couldn't tell the size by just looking, I do know what a size 16 on average looks like though and I generally see smaller sizes than that |

I look slimmer in my clothes than out.
I think you'll find that applies to most people.
Maybe you're looking at bodies which have the normal lumps and bumps.
I don't get it to be honest. On here I see equal amounts of all body types.
I don't see size 16 and over as the majority and I've looked at a lot of female profiles |

I've always thought there was a good mix of sizes on here, but suppose if you're only looking for ladies it's more apparent if there's a larger percentage of a certain size.
Keep looking, I'm sure there's a size and shape to suit everyone on here somewhere |

I'm just lazy and like all the wrong foods too much.
As a result, it's taken me the same amount of time to put back on the 7 stone I had lost.
I know I'll lose it again, I've just had other stuff going on so it's not been a priority

"I really do wonder why most of the women on this site is plus sized? Not a bad thing I love all sizes but wonder why " it's because bigger women do far better on sex sites than they do in "real life". it's not a really cool subject to be talking about as it's not nice to say as feelings may be hurt but that dosent mean it's not true.

The average has increased due to an increase in weight and hence size. As I've previously stated over half the adult population is over weight. A slightly higher percentage being male. |

As a skinny bloke it's interesting... because all those who state a preference that I have read so far seek men who are not my shape. That's fine, but I guess if we are encouraging men to appreciate women of all shapes (and I certainly set no limits), it would be nice to to feel wimpy because I am skinny. I eat lots, I just burn it off... |

It's been studied too.
In our society slim gf/wife is seen as a status symbol. My ex gave me a really hard time over gaining weight during pregnancy, I'd gone from a size 8 to size 12!
So over the years as an adult I've gone from size 6 to now size 16/18.
I've had far more interest as a larger lady than when I was very slim.
Biologically larger women are more sexually attractive as they look more fertile and more able to nurture a child. And sex drive is based on urge to procreate of course.
Ultimately I think it's confidence and as you get older you do 2 things
Gain weight and gain confidence.
And confidence is very sexy. |

I'd be interested what you class as plus size when the average UK size is a 16.
16 to me is a plus size but it could also depend on height, that's just me personally though I never knew that was the uk average.
I would of thought a 12 would've been the average. Maybe because that's more of what I see Day to Day
You only see women of a size 12 on average day to day? What in magazines?

12 surely?
It can't be 16 that's insane?
Yeah I'm sure I read somewhere it's 16. Dress sizes aren't a consistent way of measuring obesity really? "
Yeah true I suppose a size changes from store to store.
Is there a actual definition for the sizes?
Like say chest 38-40 would be a 16 36-38 a 14 or whatever?
I've always though 12 was starting to get a little bit of excess fat, love handles, a belly with no defined line between the abbs/obliques.
And 16 was pushing obese with actual folds/rolls of fat down the side.
Then 20+ being morbidly obese with obvious issues.
But I am not sure as I don't check the labels in women's clothes in the street lol.
Guys are easier waist hight an chest and you know what build the guy is |

Here's something a little interesting on a similar track to the op
"A new study has looked into what makes a member of the opposite sex 'desirable' and despite the average women weighing around 11st 2lbs and wearing a size 16, 94 per cent of all respondents - both male and female - said that weighing 10 stone or more and wearing above a size 14 was 'undesirable' and 'unattractive'."
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2537305/Women-weighing-ten-stone-slimmer-size-14-desirable-says-new-poll-does-mean-average-size-16-11st-2lb-female.html
If 94% of the general population (male and female)are saying women over 10st/above size 14 are unattractive even assuming that figure is high we can take it that it's the average perception.
Why is it on fab we have what seems to be significantly more than 6% of the male members who find women well above this weight/size attractive and desirable (bbq lovers etc).
What is it about fab that draws way above the national average for men into fat women?
And what does that say about the men on fab? |

I just done a search of single females and most of them (checked about 50) I would class as obese. Out of the last 50 females I have saw in real life I would say only 5 I would class as obese. Yes you have a point OP |

ha ha, we try to be flawless like you women but just seem to fall short
Sure we'll try harder
I never said the women were flawless - or did I imply that fat bitches cant get laid anywhere else but fab - but the OP did....
You're being personal!"
I was clearly joking, I thought the 'ha ha' would have suggested that |

Most men have no idea about what a dress size looks like!
The nonsense about a woman weighing 11st is a size 16 just isn't true!
If I weigh 11st then I'm a size 12 - everyone is different.
This is just another thread to hate on fat women.
Lets move in to short men |

If you think there aren't fatties in California, think again. As for the fitties, they'll probably want a young, fit guy |

"65 percent of adults in the UK are classed as overweight. I'm sure any social forum including fab would reflect that.
Yeah - that seems to be the most logical response.
Would you say it's about 65% on fab then or higher/lower?
Also what do people think of the average guy size on here?
I don't look at mens profiles so no clue on that front.
Are the average males her overweight?"
I'm not too sure. I've just done a quick profile search in my area and it would appear to be lower but I know that's not true in all.
As far as men go? I don't know, it's hard to work out size from cock pictures and the like. The ones that do display a lot of pictures tend to be slim or fairly muscular in my experience. I think the men as a whole may have fewer overweight on here but that might just be my confirmation bias. |

I'm astonished at all the guys who think size 12 is average. I can only assume you're all clueless about what dress sizes are what. With you writing anyone over a 12 off as plus sized it's no wonder so many women are dissatisfied with their figures.
And on the original question I see a real mix of sizes on here , and my impression is that there are less BBWs than average or slim women. |
