I don't think i had one specific thing as clothes barely lasted a few months with fashions changing at that age. I did have a lovely pair of 501's though i remember well. |

Briefly mini skirts then progressed to maxi dresses...... a fifties infant, sixties kid, seventies teen... and still a happy liberated hippy in the eleventyteens going round all the fashions and skirt lengths again. |

Who remembers Skinners jeans? they were from the skinhead era.
Same time as Oxford Bags trousers and Slatio shoes were the choice style for the man about town.
Have still got my Crombie, and still wear Levi 501's and brogues |

"and don't forget the gingham check Ben Sherman shirts, with college striped ties
"
Did you have a hankie tucked in the breast pocket of your Crombie?
I did, and had the front quarter turned down and pinned into place with a cubic zirconia type stud earring. For want of a diamond solitaire tie-pin. |

Dark green Cambridge bag trousers(like Oxford bags but with pockets on the side of each leg) with a wide FOUR button waistband.
A brown star jumper
Platform 'block' shoes (5" heels - 4" platforms) So many girls ended up with sprained ankles falling off these abominations!
Boy did I look classy!! |
